Application for the 2019-20 scholarship cycle opened on November 1, 2018 and will close at midnight on Friday, March 1, 2019. Applications submitted by February 15th will be eligible for the Early Bird Scholarship. Awards will be posted on the RCC Foundation website and notifications emailed to students who are offered scholarships by late May, 2019.

RCC’s scholarship application process includes four essays. If your first language is not English or you struggle with writing, we encourage you to draft your essays in your native language, then get help to translate or edit your essays prior to submitting. For Spanish speakers, we invite you to contact Latino Services; Angelica, 541-245-7711 or Kevin, 541-245-7585).  RCC also offers an ESL/ELA (English as a Second Language/English Language Acquisition) program, providing assistance through our Learning Centers; Kiersta, 541-245-7556.

Awards for this cycle will be paid to RCC student accounts in the 2019-20 academic year. Please be aware that this will be the single application window for the 19/20 school year. All awards and correspondence will be done by email, so please keep your email address current with the RCC Foundation and in myRogue. No notifications will be done by mail or phone.

LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION UPDATE FOR 2019-20

In order to submit your scholarship application, you must have both your letters of recommendation completed. This is done within the application, electronically. It is your responsibility to check the status of your recommendations in the AwardSpring system. Once both letters have been completed you will be able to submit your application. The system will NOT automatically submit your application once complete, you must submit the application electronically once it is complete. Absolutely NO paper letter of recommendations will be accepted under any circumstances.
