RCC’s scholarship application process includes four essays. If your first language is not English or you struggle with writing, we encourage you to draft your essays in your native language, then get help to translate or edit your essays prior to submitting. For Spanish speakers, we invite you to contact Latino Services; Angelica, 541-245-7711.  RCC also offers an ESL/ELA (English as a Second Language/English Language Acquisition) program, providing assistance through our Learning Centers; Kiersta, 541-245-7556.

In order to submit your scholarship application, you must have both your letters of recommendation completed. This is done within the application, electronically. It is your responsibility to check the status of your recommendations in the AwardSpring system. Once both letters have been uploaded, you will be able to submit your completed application. The system will NOT automatically submit your application. You must submit the application electronically once it is complete. Absolutely NO paper letter of recommendations will be accepted under any circumstances.
