The 2020-21 Scholarship Application is Open!
Application for the 2020-21 scholarship cycle opened November 1, 2019. It will close at midnight on Monday, March 2, 2020. If you complete by 2/15/20, the Early Bird application deadline, you will be entered into a drawing for a bonus $500 scholarship! This is the only general application window for 2020-21 academic year awards.
RCC’s scholarship application process includes four essays. If your first language is not English or you struggle with writing, we encourage you to draft your essays in your native language, then get help to translate or edit your essays prior to submitting. For Spanish speakers, we invite you to contact Latino Services; Angelica, 541-245-7711. RCC also offers an ESL/ELA (English as a Second Language/English Language Acquisition) program, providing assistance through our Learning Centers; Kiersta, 541-245-7556.
In order to submit your scholarship application, you must have both your letters of recommendation completed. This is done within the application, electronically. It is your responsibility to check the status of your recommendations in the AwardSpring system. Once both letters have been uploaded, you will be able to submit your completed application. The system will NOT automatically submit your application. You must submit the application electronically once it is complete. Absolutely NO paper letter of recommendations will be accepted under any circumstances.

Awards notifications are posted on the RCC Foundation website starting in May. Applicants who did not receive a scholarship are not specifically notified, but may check the website.
Awards for this cycle are generally divided into Fall/Winter/Spring terms and paid to RCC student accounts starting just prior to each term during the 2020-21 academic year. All awards and correspondence will be done by email, so please keep your email address current with the RCC Foundation and in myRogue. No notifications will be done by mail or phone.
