Matriculation Scholarship

This application for 2018-19 is now open.  Deadline to apply is March 1st at midnight.

In 1996, Rogue Community College established a partnership with Southern Oregon University, Oregon Institute of Technology, Oregon State University and Portland State University to create the Matriculation Scholarship to aid students in the transition between RCC and the above-named universities.

One scholarship will be awarded for each of the four universities in the amount of $1,000 ($500 from the university and $500 from RCC Foundation) to be used during the first academic year at the university.

To qualify for the Matriculation Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Will receive an Associate Degree by the end of spring 2018 (students must submit an application to graduate by RCC's deadline of February 16, 2018).
  • Plan to transfer to SOU, OIT, OSU, or PSU.
  • Plan to attend full-time at one of the above universities beginning fall term of 2018.
