Megan Davis Lightman was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans and holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Development from Loyola University, Chicago.
As a highly successful chief executive and business consultant, her core strengths include; leading best practices for Boards of Directors, organizational cultural alignment, strategic planning, conflict prevention and resolution, leadership development and business growth. Megan has long appreciated the value Community Colleges provide for regional economic development and the advantages they bring, which can change the course of people’s lives.
Megan has an extensive and diverse background as a community leader and has been a member of several boards. Amongst her many honors are awards for service from Planned Parenthood Arizona, The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona and the Southern Arizona Jewish Community Relations Council’s “Make a Difference Day” by USA Today and the Paul Newman Foundation. In addition to the RCCF, Megan serves on The Oregon Community Foundation’s Southern Oregon Leadership Council.
Megan relocated to S. Oregon after many years in Tucson, AZ, with her husband, Steve Lightman, President of Harry & David. They live in Medford with one huge Goldendoodle, two cats and have three fabulous adult children all pursing their professional dreams.
