Pat Ashley

Pat AshleyBorn and reared in Oklahoma, Pat Ashley graduated from Oklahoma State University, worked as an on-air personality and did copy-writing for a local NBC station in Tulsa for two year then moved to Los Angeles. There she went to work as a secretary at NBC, moving up to a writers’ secretary, script girl, Associate Producer and, finally, Producer. She was one of the first four women in Los Angeles television to reach this position. In 1997, she and her dentist husband, Ron, moved into their new home in the Rogue Valley, and their daughter Kristina, moved to San Francisco to work in publishing.

Pat joined the Eagle Point Friends of the Library, became a member of the Jackson County Library Advisory Committee, was on the Executive Committee for the Library Bond Measure, and was on the design team and art selection committee for the Medford library. She has also served on the Rogue Gallery Board of Directors (where she also served as President of the board for two years and continues to serve on the Governance committee). Currently Pat serves as a Grant Evaluator for the Oregon Community Foundation and in 2007 was appointed to the Board of Education for Rogue Community College.
